This handmade swiss voile christening ensemble consists of a beautiful smocked gown, slip, bonnet and shoes. The smocked bodice on the gown features finely worked white bullion roses.Above the smocking a shadow worked bow is delicately finished with a white bullion rose, and the gently puffed sleeves also feature a white bullion rose on the cuff. Two rows of fine french cotton lace decorate the skirt and the hem is finished with fine french cotton lace as well. Complimenting the gown is the sweetest little bonnet which is embroidered with the same shadow work bow and bullion roses and trimmed with fine french cotton lace.The bullion roses are also embroidered on the dainty little shoes. A cotton slip under the gown is also trimmed with the same fine french lace. This gown is 82 centimetres long and would fit a baby of 3-6 months old. Proudly Australian made.
