This double cotton oven mitt, which is embellished with lovely machine embroidery of Australian native Rosellas and Parrots, is not only stylish, but practical and useful as well. Measuring 18cm x 71cm the potholder is made from thick cotton wadding encased in a woven cotton fabric.

All perched along a gum tree branch is the Eastern Rosella, Crimson Rosella and the King Parrot. All three of these birds abound here on the South Coast. We have quite a few of the King Parrots around home whom think nothing of hopping inside the house if they spy something to their liking, or following you around the garden insisting on a feed.
