This double cotton oven mitt, which is embellished with lovely machine embroidery of the Australian native Koala, is not only stylish, but practical and useful as well. Measuring 18cm x 71cm the oven mitt is made from thick cotton wadding encased in a woven cotton fabric.

The Koala is a sleepy tree dwelling marsupial, which spends its few waking hours munching on eucalyptus leaves. Descending to the ground to change trees once or twice each night, it eats approximately 1kg of leaves daily. The female gives birth usually to a single young, which lives for about 5 months in the mother’s pouch and 3-4 months clinging to her back when travelling or cuddling in her arms while resting.
