This beautiful cream Australian Merino wool cot blanket has been lovingly embroidered by hand with silk ribbon and hand dyed wool over several months. The blanket features four cute little bears in various poses; playing ball, catching butterflies, holding a bunch of balloons and of course one little bear is wistfully gazing at a pot of honey. The bears are embroidered in hundreds of french knots in hand dyed wool. Surrounding the bears are daisies, lavender and foxgloves amongst many other flowers all embroidered in silk ribbon; and of course the garden of flowers would not be complete without bees, butterflies, a spider and web, and a lady bird embroidered amongst the plants. The blanket is fully backed in a subtle cream fabric and trimmed with cream ribbon. Measruring 80 x 120cm, this blanket is proudly made in Australia.
